Oral Surgery

The words “oral surgery” may sound intimidating but our team is here to help you feel more comfortable about the procedures. Our team has experience providing a wide variety of oral surgeries such as extractions, bone grafting and sinus lift.

Wisdom Teeth Extractions

Our team may recommend an extraction for your wisdom teeth if your wisdom teeth are:

  • Affecting your other teeth with their growth
  • Causing you to suffer pain
  • Decayed or hard to clean
  • Causing infections

One of our dentists will be able to extract your wisdom teeth, or tooth, if you are suffering from any of the problems above.

The actual oral surgery will begin with one of our dentists giving you an anesthetic that numbs the affected area. Then the dentist will remove the wisdom tooth from your mouth and ask you to bite down on a piece of gauze for about 30 minutes. We will then provide you with all the aftercare information you will need while you recover. While you recover, our team of dentists are ready to help you with any dental concerns you may have.

Bone Grafting

Our dental team has experience providing a wide variety of dental surgeries, including bone grafting. Bone grafting is usually required in order to perform other dental procedures, such as dental implants. Bone grafting is a dental procedure that increases the amount of bone in your jaw by either using a bone from another part of your body, or with a bone growth material.

One of our dentists will administer an anesthetic to begin the procedure. Then they will graft the bone, or growth material onto your jaw and suture the area. After the surgery, our team of oral experts will give you all the information you need about post-surgery care. We are always here to answer any questions you may have about the procedure!

Sinus Lift

A sinus lift is a surgery that involves adding bone to your upper jaw towards the back to allow the treatment area to receive an implant. It is therefore a procedure that is only recommended for this specific area of your mouth
